UP On GAME Presents Conversations With A Legend. In the first episode, LaVar Arrington talks with NFL All-Pro Linebacker Thomas Davis Sr. about his humble beginnings. Davis tells you a story about his upbringing in the small town of Shellman, Georgia (population 1000.) to the NFL. He gets you up close and personal about the decision his mother gave him while he was in the 11th grade. Thomas relives the moment when he was offered a full scholarship to Georgia while at basketball practice. Davis Sr. also recalls a time he was in elementary school, and his mother bought him a pair of cleats from the Family Dollar Store. Listen as he describes how the kids reacted to him wearing these new kicks to school.
